Leave a Legacy

The Thomas A. Jenkins Legacy Society

“If you’re going to live, leave a legacy. Make a mark on the world that can’t be erased.” - Maya Angelou

Named in memory of Thomas A. Jenkins, the Jenkins Legacy Society was created to honor an exceptional man and member of our community while recognizing the individuals who wish to make an influential impact towards the lives of those supported through the Human Resources Foundation.

Mr. Jenkins was committed to serving his community as an educator, administrator, and adviser to thousands of students and educators in Northeast Pennsylvania. He was an admired leader and irreplaceable center of his family. Throughout his life, he contributed to numerous community organizations, including the Human Resources Center.

Joining the Jenkins Legacy Society

The Thomas A. Jenkins Legacy Society is a way to recognize and appreciate the individuals in our community who have made plans towards a future gift to the Human Resources Foundation. It comprises individuals who have named the Human Resources Foundation as a beneficiary of their estate plan.

The needs of our community are ongoing. A legacy gift ensures that the Human Resources Foundation will be here, years from now, to continue its support to individuals with disabilities - whether it’s through the programs and services of the Human Resources Center or like-minded charitable and nonprofit organizations in the Northeast Pennsylvania region.

Becoming a member of the Jenkins Legacy Society means you care about the mission, vision, and values of the Human Resources Foundation. And alongside Thomas A. Jenkins, your legacy will live on. With your gift, we can ensure the quality of life, well-being, and inclusion of future generations. Your membership can also serve as an inspiration for others to do the same.

In many cases, a planned gift can be made without incurring an immediate expense. And in some cases, a planned gift can provide substantial tax savings and income for life. Please consider the planned giving options below:
