The Human Resources Foundation is pleased to offer eight annual $1,000.00 scholarships to college-bound high school seniors in all Susquehanna, Wayne, Pike, and Monroe County School Districts.

Our foundation strives to improve quality of life by funding adaptive equipment such as ramps, stair glides, lifts and bathroom modifications. HRF exists to provide support to all people with physical and intellectual disabilities. Because of this mission, we seek to encourage the next generation to play an active role in providing accessibility and inclusion for all.

Students eligible for our scholarships are those planning to pursue a career in Human Services, Health Care, Social Work, or Special Education, as well as Vo-Tech careers in Construction, HVAC or Electrical Technology. We prefer that applicants use our online scholarship form, but we have provided a downloadable version below. Additionally, we request the submission of the student’s transcript and any relevant test scores.

Applications must be received by April 15, 2026. The selected scholarship recipients will be notified in May 2025. The monetary award will be made payable to the student’s post-secondary school account.

Scholarship Application

NOTE: If you are a recipient of this scholarship through the Human Resources Foundation, all monetary awards will be made payable to your account at the post-secondary school you will be or are attending. Unless otherwise stated, checks will be issued in July, prior to the new school year. No checks will be awarded directly to any individuals.
