Funding opportunities for the area’s elderly population are newly available through the Human Resources Foundation. The Human Resources Foundation serves individuals with disabilities through its support of the Human Resources Center and individual and project grant funding. They have now expanded these opportunities to not only be available to the disabled community but also the elderly 55-years and older. The organization will consider grant applications to assist with home modifications, adaptive equipment, vehicle modifications, and assistive technology’s needs. The Human Resources Foundation is also seeking partnerships with local organizations, agencies, businesses, and individuals looking to support their efforts.
